Archiving a project creates a point in time snapshot of a project and allows for recovery to that point in time should the project be deleted or modified. The archive is not accessible from the system dashboard or project directory and is only accessible from the system admin area of the platform.

  1. Open the project from the System dashboard or from the Project directory. 
  2. From the project name drop down select Project settings.

  1. Navigate to the Actions tab from the top toolbar.
  2. Select Create archive.
  3. Complete the dialog window by giving the archive a unique name and giving a description with any relevant information about the project and point in time.
  4. Select Create archive.
  5. If necessary to verify or download the zipped archive for offline storage, navigate to the system admin area by clicking the gear cog icon in the top right of the window.  
  6. Select the Archives tab.
  7. See the list of all archived projects in the table below. 
  8. If necessary, select any projects to be exported as .zip archives by checking the box in the left most column and selecting Export from the toolbar.

Downloaded archives can be uploaded using the upload button and projects can be restored to the archived snapshot from the actions drop down.
