Pages

Under the ‘Pages’ tab, users can create and manage pages for their portal. Portal pages are created independently of a specific portal site and can be shared across sites. Users can designate a page within a specific portal site as a ‘main page’. Each site can have more than one ‘main page’ as well as ‘additional’ pages. A page that has been designated as a ‘main page’ within a site will be displayed in that site's navigation menu. ‘Additional’ pages within a site must be connected via an internal hyperlink.

To create a new page, click on the 'add page' icon and fill in the properties, including: page title, page name, and URL slug.

The ‘page name’ field must be filled in to create a new page.

Pages in a portal site are highly configurable, constructed using a portal editor that draws content from files, documents and worksheets. Content can be displayed as text, images, charts and graphs. Once a page is selected, users can click on the 'page editor' on the right-hand panel to open up the 'portal page editor' for further configurations. The right-hand panel also displays the 'details' of the page, the 'site' that the page has linked to (i.e. the home site) and the 'preview' of how it looks in the portal.

Images

Portal images are stored independently of specific sites and can be shared across multiple sites in a project. An image must be uploaded to the portal builder in a project and given a name before it can be used in a specific page. To add an image, click on the 'add image' icon. Then, give it a name and drag and drop an image into the box or browse for an image. When an image entry is selected, the right-hand panel will show the details of the entry and information is editable by clicking on it.

Image upload: The maximum image size that Opus 2 Platform can accept is 4MB. The maximum image dimensions are 3000px x 3000px. Images that exceed these dimensions will have to be resized and scaled down before they can be uploaded to the system.
